Ingredients:
- linguini for 2
- 2/3 lb fresh local shrimp
- 1/2 c shredded gouda
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- handful pine nuts
- salt/pepper
- 1 head broccoli
- 1 carrot
Chop carrots and broccoli roughly, and steam. Cook pasta and drain. Steam shrimp after veggies are done. I add a little beer to the steamer for the shrimp. Mix butter, olive oil, garlic, pine nuts and cheese. When cheese melts stir in pasta. Add veggies and shrimp on top. Lemon juice on shrimp would help.
This meal had a great flavor, and was easy to make b/c the bamboo steamer did double duty.
