Measure A. Bond Measure — John Swett Unified School District(55% Approval Required)
To modernize, upgrade, equip and furnish John Swett High School and its related athletic and support facilities, to provide improved, safe, and technologically advanced academic and athletic facilities, and to become eligible for state matching funds for school facilities including joint-use and career technical education facilities, shall the John Swett Unified School District issue $20,000,000 in bonds at interest rates within the legal limit subject to the accountability safeguards required by law?  

Measure B. Parcel Tax Measure — Martinez Unified School District (2/3 Approval Required)
To support high academic achievement for local students by maintaining small class sizes, updated textbooks and classroom materials, improved access to modern technology, science education, art, music, band programs, library services and school counselors to help students prepare for college and work, shall Martinez Unified School District authorize an annual school parcel tax of $50 per parcel for a term not to exceed five years, exempting eligible senior citizens, and including citizens’ oversight?  

Measure C. Parcel Tax Measure — Pittsburg Unified School District (2/3 Approval Required)
To expand student access to technology and computers, college preparatory, honors and advanced placement classes, avoid increased class sizes, maintain essential programs and materials, keep classes small in the early grades, and attract and retain highly qualified teachers, shall the Pittsburg Unified School District levy an annual tax of $65 per taxable parcel for seven years, beginning July 1, 2009, with an annual inflation adjustment of $6, with citizen oversight and a senior citizen exemption?  

Measure D. Parcel Tax Measure — West Contra Costa Unified School District (2/3 Approval Required)
To improve education, including reading, writing, math and science, retain quality teachers and counselors, support libraries, computer training and athletic programs, prepare students for college and the workforce, maintain reduced class sizes, maintain school cleanliness and protect against state budget cuts, shall the West County Unified School District renew it existing parcel tax for 5 years, keeping the current rate, with revenue staying at local schools, no funds to administrator salaries, an exemption for seniors and independent citizen oversight?  

Measure E. Bond Measure — Acalanes Union High School District (55% Approval Required)
Acalanes Union High School District Improvement. To establish a ten-year technology fund, upgrade instructional classroom technology, replace worn, aging roofs, convert obsolete facilities into additional classroom space, upgrade electrical and energy management systems to improve efficiency and repair, construct, equip or upgrade school facilities, shall the Acalanes Union High School District issue $93 million in bonds at interest rates within the legal limit, with all expenditures reviewed by an independent citizens’ oversight committee without increasing current tax rates?  

Measure F. Special Tax Measure — County Service Area P-6, Zone 3006 (2/3 Approval Required)
Shall Ordinance No. 2008-23, to provide additional funding for police protection services, be approved to authorize a special tax on property located in Zone 3006 of County Service Area P-6 in the unincorporated neighborhoods of East Richmond Heights and Bayo Vista (North Arlington area), at an initial annual amount of $108 per parcel for single-family, residential parcels, with higher amounts for properties in other use categories identified in the ordinance?  

Measure G. Special Measure — City of Concord (Majority Approval Required)
Shall the office of the City Clerk be appointive?  

Measure H. Bond Measure — City of Martinez (2/3 Approval Required)
To repair, renovate and make needed safety improvements to neighborhood parks, playgrounds, sporting fields, and the replacement of Rankin Pool; renovate and expand the Martinez Library with a designated children’s area; provide youth recreational opportunities; and improve disabled access to parks and libraries, shall the City of Martinez issue $30 million in general obligation bonds, subject to citizen oversight and independent audits with no money to administrators’ salaries?  

Measure J. Open Space/Land Use — Town of Moraga (Majority Approval Required)
Shall the Ordinance Expanding Open Space and Residential Land Use Designations and Adopting Development Agreement be adopted?

Shall the ordinance Expanding Open Space and Imposing Development Restrictions be adopted?  

Measure L. Amending Business License Tax — City of Oakley(Majority Approval Required)
Shall the Business License Tax Ordinance, Title 3 of Chapter 5 of the Oakley Municipal Code, be amended as set forth in Ordinance No. 14-08, altering the manner of calculating business license taxes that are used to provide general City services such as police, parks, recreation, code enforcement, library hours, youth activities, senior programs and street maintenance?  

Measure M. Parcel Tax Measure — Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (2/3 Approval Required)
To maintain the quality of local schools, attract and retain highly qualified teachers, and maintain small class sizes, college/career/job preparation classes, art/music/foreign language programs, computers, infrastructure and instructional technology upgrades, elementary science specialists, and high school counselors, shall Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District extend its expiring parcel tax for five years at $11.50/month per parcel, with a senior citizen exemption, independent oversignt, no administrative salaries, and all funds staying local to benefit Livermore children?  

Measure N. Term Limits Measure — City of Pinole (Majority Approval Required)
Shall an ordinance be adopted to enact term limits upon members of the Pinole City Council, preventing any person who serves three (3) successive terms from serving again until an intervening period of two (2) years has elapsed?  

Measure P. Charter Amendment Measure — City of San Ramon(Majority Approval Required)
Shall so much of Article III of the City of San Ramon Charter which currently reads as “Compensation for the elected Mayor of San Ramon shall be one hundred dollars per month more than a City Councilmember” be amended to read “Compensation for the elected Mayor of San Ramon shall be determined by resolution of the City Council.”  

Measure Q. Charter Amendment Measure — City of San Ramon(Majority Approval Required)
Shall the following be added to Article III of the City of San Ramon Charter: Notwithstanding any of the above, if the general municipal election date is changed to the date of the statewide general election, the unexpired term of an incumbent Mayor shall be extended by one year or reduced by one year. If the term is extended, that individual may serve a total of nine years as Mayor.  

Measure R. Appropriations Limit Measure — Crockett Community Services District (Majority Approval Required)
Shall the appropriations limit applicable to Crockett Community Services District be set at $2,851,000 for the Fiscal Year 2008-2009?  

Measure S. Appropriations Limit Measure — Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District, Landscape and Lighting Zone 8 (Majority Approval Required)
Shall the appropriations limit under California Constitution Article XIIIB continue at $725,000.00 and be adjusted for changes in the cost-of-living and population, with the increase effective for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 through 2011-2012 (inclusive) to provide for the expenditure of funds that will be available to DB L&L Zone #8 District for the stated fiscal years?  

Measure T. Amending Business License Measure — City of Richmond (Majority Approval Required)
Shall the Richmond Business License Act be adopted effective January 1, 2009, to define the category of Manufacturer and to establish a license fee equal to one fourth of one percent (0.25%) of the value of the material used in the manufacturing process during the immediately preceding calendar year for large manufacturers, be adopted?  

Measure VV. Special Tax Measure — Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (2/3 Approval Required)
To preserve affordable local public transportation that allows seniors and people with disabilities to remain independent, takes students to and from school, provides transportation alternatives given skyrocketing gas prices, helps residents commute to work and reduces traffic and greenhouse gas emissions by getting cars off the road shall the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) increase its existing parcel tax by $4 per parcel, per month for ten years with independent oversight and all money staying local?  

Measure WW. Bond Measure — East Bay Regional Park District(2/3 Approval Required)
EXTEND EXISTING EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT BOND WITH NO INCREASE IN TAX RATETo continue restoring urban creeks, protect wildlife, purchase/save open space, wetlands/shoreline, acquire/develop/improve local and regional parks, trails and recreational facilities, shall East Bay Regional Park District be authorized to issue up to $500 million in general obligation bonds, provided repayment projections, verified by independent auditors, demonstrate that property tax rates will not increase beyond present rates of $10 per year, per $100,000 of assessed valuation?
